The story that will never die reared its ugly head again on Saturday, when Floyd Mayweather announced in England that he is coming out of retirement. This, of course, is massive news for boxing, given that Mayweather is the greatest boxer of his era and one of the best of all-time. And, being the showman he is, he played it for all it’s worth. “Everybody get your phone out,” Mayweather says. “Post this to the internet as soon as possible.”

Full count, unless Conor gets tired. Mayweather isn’t a power hitter, he’s a technical fighter, a points getter, he wins rounds.

Somebody must have some IRS bills that need to be paid.
What rules are they fighing under? UFC or Marquis of Queensbury? Under UFC rules, Mayweather ends up in ICU or taps out. Under boxing rules, this is not even entertaining.

Mayweather will do his usual dance and pony until McGregor gets tired of waiting for a fight and gets more aggressive. Than Mayweather will wear him out until he can knock him out.

With boxing rules, nothing is entertaining. McGregor is just ducking Nurmagomendov and Ferguson. Either would make him wet his pants.
Lol that’s his name. That was a bizarre movie, McCloud is a Scot with a French accent and Sean Connery who IS a Scot plays a Spaniard with a Scottish accent lol lol And that was a neat trick to pick up a chick, simply stab yourself lol
It’s likely that Mayweather and McGregor agreed to the fight a long time ago, but the purse wasn’t at a level where one or the other was willing to risk a fight for an insignificant purse. With professional fighters, it is always possible that their next fight may leave them permanently disabled, so why fight over almost nothing?
Hope Mayweather beats the sh!! out of that braggart, insufferable Conner.

Conor who? Sigh... Guess it doesn’t matter; Mayweather isn’t going to fight no matter who it is. He ran from the PacMan for Pacquiao’s entire career until it was clear Pacquiao had lost a step or two. Then he got in the ring and ran some more.
I havent cared about boxing for years but I’ll note that people who come put of retirement to fight again aren’t even the fighters they were when they retired much less the fighters they were in their prime.
Money would never fight anyone he had a 2% chance of losing to.
