The head cover, called the "Nike Pro Hijab," boasts a single-layer pull-on design made from lightweight polyester in dark, neutral colors. The fabric's tiny holes will make it breathable while remaining opaque, a requirement for hijab-wearing women. Nike (NKE) said it began developing the hijab after some Muslim athletes complained about wearing a traditional head scarf during competition.

The last time I wore something from Nike was back in high school. Amazing how the fashion industry has ignored calls for more modest choices for years but since this involves Muslims they are falling over themselves to accommodate them.

Is Nike going to make a sports version of a chastity belt next?

to Nike’s credit, it looks like they did previous have an ad that blatantly showed women without a head garbage bag (hijab) http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/21/middleeast/nike-arab-women-commercial/?iid=EL and this new move, releasing the “Pro Hijab” might be aimed at curbing fatwas.

LOL!! Islamic women can’t even go outside without permission or escort. And they’re going to market athletic gear? LOLOL!! The only way they’ll need this is if they’re running for their lives.

How would people react if Nike sold clothing that sported the words “Women cannot be in public lest they tempt men”? Because that’s what a hijab is all about.

This is the way capitalism works. If the Muslims start letting their women do sports and their violent, misogynist, barbarian religion says that they have to have something on their head, someone will sell them something to wear on their head. Capitalism AUTOMATICALLY meets every need people have, even stupid ones.

One simply cannot respect women and also practice islam. They are mutually exclusive.

What I find funny about this is that the Left constantly wants us to capitulate to homosexuals and Muslims and deny the right for an individual to deny service the basis of religious beliefs. Yet those same leftists will go into a collective circle jerk over how “diverse” a company is being by offering something like a Hijab (a religiously-mandated garment) onesie.

Liberals make absolutely no sense to me. Their logic is like a pretzel.
