Support for Obamacare is at an all-time high, according to two surveys released this week as Republican leaders continue to press the case for repeal amid fierce resistance at many town halls.
The latest Health Tracking Poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that 48% of Americans view the law favorably, compared to 42% who have an unfavorable view. This is the highest level of favorability measured in more than 60 Kaiser Health Tracking Polls conducted since 2010.
The boost comes largely from independents, half of whom view Obamacare favorably compared to 39% who don’t. Nearly three-quarters of Democrats continue to view it favorably, while about the same share of Republicans have an unfavorable view.
Also, a survey from the Pew Research Center found 54% of Americans approve of the Affordable Care Act — the highest level ever recorded by Pew — while 43% disapprove. That’s up from an even split (48%-47%) in a Pew survey from December, suggesting support for the law may be galvanized by the ongoing public fight over its future. …

Subject: Obamacare Destroys Personal Freedoms
“Death Panels” within Obamacare mean rationing healthcare by eliminating personal freedoms.
Rationing means government not reducing, but refusing to pay costs. Bureaucrats now have tools to control chronically ill, elderly, and disabled people. Obamacare added over 100 new boards, commissions, and programs. For example, a new Medicare Commission, judicial review exempt, unilaterally writes rules about utilization and pricing of medical devices and drugs needed by surgeons. The Independent Payment Advisory Board makes decisions about allowable levels of Medicare funding for therapies.
Princeton bioethics professor Peter Singer in the New York Times gave legislative and regulatory intent when saying, “Rationing health care means getting value for the billions spent by setting limits ….There’s no doubt that it’s tough – politically, emotionally, and ethically - to make a decision that means that someone will die sooner than they would have if the decision had gone the other way….The task of health care bureaucrats is then to get the best value for resources ….If a teenager can be expected to live another 70 years, saving that life gains 70 years, whereas a person of 85 can be expected to live another 5 years, then saving the 85-year-old will gain only 5 life-years. That suggests saving one teenager is equivalent to saving 14 85-year-olds”.
Healthcare regulations match a patient’s judged societal value to federally approved, cost effective treatments. Repeal and replace is critical to thwart destruction of speech and religious freedoms, prevent loss of life without trial, and retain other freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution.
It’s only ‘popular’ with people who don’t have to PAY for it.
Talk to the people who have to pay for it and the actually USE it.

Obamacare is ONLY popular with the leaches who have preexisting conditions. They love having their ‘insurance’ subsidized by everyone else.

The American people went to the polls in 2010,2012,2014 and again in 2016 for ONE major reason.
