No, this makes the point. It's good parenting.

For example: I have a daughter that went through a slamming door phase when she was 13. I removed her bedroom door and put it in the garage for week or two. No discussion, cajoling or begging worked. Loving action solved the problem, she got the message, and her parents got respect.

Oh gosh... you did that too?! I thought we were the only ones! At 16, she now laughs about it and has told her much younger sister NOT to slam doors when she gets into middle school. LOL! :)
