I applaud @POTUS for nominating Alex Acosta to be Secretary of Labor

I applaud President Trump for nominating Alex Acosta to be Secretary of Labor. I've known Alex for over twenty years; he and I went to law school together, and he's a smart, principled conservative with a passion for justice. His record of service, inclusion, and accomplishment spans decades. Alex has served as a law clerk to Justice Samuel Alito, as a Board Member on the National Labor Relations Board, as the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and most recently as a pioneering law-school dean.

His nomination to the Labor Department is great news for workers and for job creation in our country. Overreaching regulations for the past eight years have reduced opportunities for work and deprived hardworking Americans of increases in their wages. I am confident that as Secretary of Labor, Alex Acosta will work hard to protect Americans’ right to work, expand opportunities for upward mobility, and help get government off the backs of the working men and women of this country.

This appointee is Cuban-American. Hispanics have no reason to complain, since in their rhetoric they've labelled anyone with any percentage of Spanish DNA as Hispanic.

Cubans are mostly in the US legally, and value US citizenship. So, their interests down coincide with invaders. This is a smart move, splits Cubans from being part of the Hispanic bloc.

I did not like him during the primaries, but since the election, Ted Cruz has been magnificent. He is a brilliant and capable man — other than Trump, maybe the most capable man out there.

He is the senator who is speaking out the most. Unlike th cowardly and evil Establishment Republicans, he has been completely supporting Trump. I trust him.

Trump should find a way to brng him into the fold, to be part of his team in a big way.

My, my how time's change.

HERE'A CRUZ BLASTING TRUMP IN MAY 2016 DURING THE PRIMARY.

Ted Cruz accused Donald Trump of being a "pathological liar," "utterly amoral," "a narcissist at a level I don't think this country's ever seen" and "a serial philanderer."

The Texas senator's dramatic and deeply personal attack on Trump comes as polls indicate Trump is poised to claim victory in Cruz's must-win state of Indiana.

The epic takedown by Cruz of a Republican opponent on an all-important voting day was extraordinary even by the standards of the 2016 campaign.

Cruz also stole Trump's delegates....and pulled a fast one to get Dr Ben Carson's black votes........dishonestly stating that the good Doctor had dropped out.

CRUZ BLASTS TRUMP: "This man is a pathological liar, he doesn't know the difference between truth and lies ... in a pattern that is straight out of a psychology text book, he accuses everyone of lying," Cruz said as Indiana voters headed to cast their ballots.

"Whatever lie he's telling, at that minute he believes it ... the man is utterly amoral," Cruz told reporters. "Donald is a bully ... bullies don't come from strength they come from weakness."

Ted does appear to know all about philandering...Tuesday night, Oh, Mandy, and iCarly to mention a couple of names.. Ted really believed that fake dirty dossier of Russian golden showers.. and he went to the convention and preached about his principles... but Ted never got President Trump to release his tax returns..showing his mob and Russian connections. Harvard law school has trained some real phony politicians. Romney, obama, Litzy Warren, and Raphael Cruz.

I guess the Ancestry.com DNA test came back insuring he isn’t related to Jim Acosta.

Lucky Trump! Crooze tweets approval! Gag me, quick.

Crooze is showing a little leg for his re-election. Period.

Doing his dance of the Seven Veils now, since he failed to deliver Trump’s head on the platter.

More leg coming, I can assure you. Redemption for re-election is what you will be seeing.

Trump should find a way to brng him into the fold, to be part of his team in a big way.

If not for his manifest great qualities, then just to watch the grudgelickers' heads explode.

I’m uncomfortable with any amnesty supporters in the cabinet, but this one wasn’t as public about it and apparently did not hire any illegal aliens that we know of yet.

Exactly. This guy is an establishment Bushie on top of it. I would have preferred Puzder. Trump picking people for his cabinet who don’t agree with him on fundamental platform issues may come back to bite him.
