The legislation only applies to government facilities, not to private venues.
Okay, so I was in Houston for the last Super Bowl. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE had nothing but praise for the city’s hospitality and how the SB was handled.
So the NFL’s response: “ we may ban super bowls from Texas because of an issue that NOTHING to do with their enterprise..”
To Mr. Goodell, has it dawned on you that you were roundly boo-ed at both the beginning and end of the season (draft and super bowl, respectively)? You think maybe the owners noticed that as well? You think maybe there is a concern about the ratings drop maybe due to your inactions(allowing inmates to run the asylum)?
And now, you’re considering banning football in what could be called the ‘cradle’ for football players in America?
I wouldn’t go hanging too many more pictures in your office.

Now I’m gonna stop watching every game twice as much. The commissioner should allow my daughters to be safe, instead of his brand wrecking pussy political correctness.

The NFL is making a huge mistake.
The fascist left is always threatening somebody. I guess it won’t be long before the NFL starts sending death threats to Texans.
And Ashville and Charlotte.
NFL should be concerned with its players beating up women, using steroids and other drugs, and suffering from concussions.

We are switching to college football. Even though NFL will be losing fans over this, pushing their agenda has top priority.
Roger Goodell is a loser.
I think the state of Texas will survive nicely despite the NFL’s self-righteous posing. Try and interfere with football and Texans will bring out the heavy artillery. You don’t mess with Texas
Can you believe this stuff? Over the freaks that comprise .001% of the population, they are risking billions. Their rep is already shot. Next casualty, their pockets!
Texas should prohibit by law, the NFL and any of its officials from “conducting business” in Texas because of their “abusive and threatening manners”. Or, tax the hell out of the NFL for operating a business there without a license (unless they already have one, then raise the fees to at least 7 zeros or more.
The same for the NCAA since they are a bunch of little shits too (and I played sports under both the NCAA and AAU auspices when their leaders were sane and professional, not PC aholes).
It is time to get sports out of politics and politics out of sports. Otherwise we will lose another great American institution and form of entertainment. Hollywood is an example of what happens when you let the Left and the PC fools gain control. They are like a plague, deadly and ever expanding unless stopped dead in their tracks.
