I remember being in TX when I was 8. The rain drops were Yuge. I actually believed everything WAS bigger in TX.

Most rain in SoCal lasts less than an hour and is soft light drizzle. A cotton hoodie will do it. Today we might need the raincoats.

We were downtown in Charleston a year ago when a storm hit, with rain falling harder than I’d ever seen, not letting up, loud and powerful, and the street was a couple inches under water. We ended up running through it for the car. I was laughing with absolute delight like an idiot. So fun. I videoed it like only a tourist from SoCal would. For us it was like visiting Mars.

Rain recipes sounds like baking... unless the power goes out. Then it sadly sounds like salad. Lol.

In Jan 1980, the weather forecast ws for about 1/4-1/2 inches of rain in LA. 10 days & 8 inches later, it finally stopped. I was lucky I only had to commute about 4 miles to work.
