I wonder when, and under what circumstances, the family moved to the U.S.
Or is he just making up the part about Algeria?
It would be nice if there were a real reporter looking into the story to find out.
Not Algeria - Algiers, Louisiana (it’s a part of Orleans Parish that lies across the Mississippi River from Downtown, French Quarter, Marigny and points downriver).
I’ll bet the career criminal was too stupid to know that there was more than one Algiers; it’s just a short ferry ride from the foot of Canal Street.
