Actually, it is better musical composition and sounds better than the US anthem.
The star spangled banner is too choppy and is all over the place.
I still think the Soviet/Russian anthem musically is the best.
And the current Russian lyrics actually mention “God”.
In the movie “The Dish” - the Aussie perspective and participation in the Apollo 11 moon landing, the US ambassador shows up, and the local garage band starts playing the “Hawaii Five-O” theme as the US national anthem.
