I couldn’t see the moon as we had clouds and rain. Better than the foot of snow that has mostly melted away now.

It was the new year for trees.

I’ve never seen one of those before.

Do you know the full moon is actually the worst time to do astronomical studies of the moon?

We had just a light cloud cover, but the moon shined through in spectacular fashion. Very vivid features you could see with the nekkid eye.

Do you know the full moon is actually the worst time to do astronomical studies of the moon? Are the astronomers most hindered by the lack of shadows or the werewolf attacks?

As a professional amateur astronomer (been doing it for 50 years, so, I had better be a pro), I would like to see theMoon painted flat black or get a giant can of sterno and burn it up. It’s WAY to bright.
I prefer to hunt down 14th magnatude galaxies.

If you look closely during a full moon, you can see Uranus.
