Notice how many of these plays are remakes? There is so little creativity they’ll be putting on “Our American Cousins” soon.

Yeah there have been a lot of revivals recently. Glass Menagerie has been done twice in the last 3 years.
And, from last century. I agree, there is little creativity in Hollywood or Broadway.
A little off topic; but, when the last Star Wars film came out, hubby and I along with our daughter and her husband, went to see it. I thought it was okay; but, then my son-in-law started complaining that all it was, was a remake of the very first Star Wars film. I thought about it, and he was right. It was the story of Luke Skywalker, except they decided to make Luke a girl in this film.
No creativity anywhere really -- not plays, not tv shows and not films. And don't get me started on the fact that no comedies are actually funny anymore.
