I don’t understand what unsecured $250,000 bail would be. If it is unsecured then it would be zero. I think typically most bondsmen require 10% be paid to them before they bond you out.
An unsecured bond is set by the judge. There is no bail bondsman involved. Normally, an unsecured bond is much lower. I don't think I've seen one over $1000. There three types of bail in Alaska...cash, corporate and unsecured. A bondsman can only bail you out on a corporate bond.
