But then it’s flat-top, dirty bop, copin’ a feel’
grubbin on the living room floor;
They send you off to college to try to gain
a little knowledge,
But all you want to do is learn how to score.

Hillsdale
Saint John’s College (Annapolis or Santa Fe)
Thomas Aquinas College.

Read good stuff. Ask good questions. Learn to be citizens.

From finger painting to painting bicycles?

And to think that I spent my college in the IT lab until 3:00am every day...

Psy Majors training for their future job painting bicycles for the homeless.

Pay less attention to the College.
First, a Career with a future...next the Major to get there..next the College.

Most parents and students go the other way around.
It is very often unsuccessful and always very expensive.

Didn't even notice the bike. That hairnet thingie dissuaded me from seeing the photo.

The weight of the paint alone is making the front tire go flat.

Perhaps they should offer a visiting professorship to Paul Reubens?

For a good measure of how conservative-friendly schools are, look at the Foundation of Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) website. Schools with the strictest speech codes are the last place you want to send your kid.

I’m intrigued by the blonde on the right...

Other than that, looks like lifestyle fluff designed to sell college as an ‘experience’. I went to engineering school (MTU) ... definitely quite the ‘experience’. Definitely lacking in the femmes department.

(le-sigh)

At my sons graduation I couldn’t help but notice...90% of the graduates were female. Yet all the focus is still on how to make girls successful. It’s not about equality but superiority.

Bingo.

Teach your sons you only need one decent gal
and not chase a bunch of women with a lifetime of dispairing diseases.

It only takes one to bring disease.

It only takes one to bring health.

Choose.

You never get the money back from College as per tuition. Go on-line for at least 2 years now them transfer into a state university for years 3 and 4. The slowest students like in public school will slow him down in years 1 and 2. Completing the degree with the highest grades and the lowest cost. He could also consider the ROTC for years 3 and 4 be possible for tuition.

Leadership will build him up for his real life experience. Colleges are not based on reality. After he is 24-25 he can move into the workplace world.
