I miss the days of getting it for $1-$2 a lb before obama.
Now I just stock up when it’s $2.49 or less. I fried up some this morning. Some for an omelet for my husband and the rest I’m putting in a elk/beef meatloaf for dinner. Hooray for whiskey glaze and bacon.

Mine are planted, growing and will be ready in a month. New seeds will be coming the first of March too.

Pumps were dry 3 hours later fortunately I bought a 10lb box of bacon:)

Was hoping a bacon shortage would lead to more hogs on feed, leading to more demand for corn, leading to better prices for corn. Come on, America, eat more bacon!

Ironically the dumbest looking animal (pig) is actually one of the smartest and they are much better at tracking people/things down than a bloodhound.

I will ALWAYS be worried about a bacon shortage.

The taste of the pork bellies would probably be determined by how they were cured.

But I’m not looking to brine and smoke them. Just curious how they’d taste fried like Bacon, and served with eggs.

Well, if they’re raw I’d expect them to taste a lot like a pork chop.et us know how they work out.
