NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A group of protesters blocked a roadway and caused traffic problems in New Haven on Saturday afternoon.
Connecticut State Police tweeted shortly after 4:45 p.m. that the Route 34 connector would be temporarily closed, but didn’t specify for how long.
Approximately 10 minutes later, police tweeted that the connector had been reopened since they moved the protesters off of the roadway.

Connecticut State Police troopers and members of New Haven Police Department say they made arrests, but did not specify what for.

H-A-N-D. They may have overplayed it. Let’s hope. My EMS colleagues on duty were uniformly unimpressed, as were most of the inconvenienced drivers.

Connecticut State cops are pretty tough. You really don’t want to mess with them. Somehow, they were bypassed by poltical correctness, and are pretty much the same as they always were.
Not a legal expert, but I would imagine you could find a way to charge them with Felony charges due to the stuck ambulances.
This stuff is getting old so I believe we will be seeing more arrests in the future.

They need to start locking these protesters up for extended periods of time so that they miss school or work (yeah, I realize very few of them would have jobs). Make the cost of disrupting others much greater so they stop this bs.
Personally, it would be okay with me if they just shot them but I don’t believe they’re going to do that.
Not real jobs anyway. But they will miss their next protest, so, no payday. Besides, any protester arrested should lose their government benefits, Pell grants, etc. permanently.
I would give them ten seconds then start spraying then with machine guns. Not kidding!
Flamethowers mounted on large trucks should clear the roadway and sanitize at the same time!
