Back in the 70’s we had a New Music Teacher that enjoyed the company of many a H.S. boy during the two years she was there. I don’t think any of them ever kept her picture...Kind of like that joke about fat chicks and carnival rides. She just allowed it to become to obvious in a small town.
There was a H.S. Wood Shop Substitute Teacher that used to hang with some of my family. I smoked pot with him several times back then.
This stuff has gone on for ever. You are right, kids just brag too much now.
Nothing drags down real estate prices like pervy teachers and cops in your public services institutions. All done very quietly. We all live in a town like "Blue Valvet". You just have to be quiet and peel back the curtain.

I grew up in an era where even though very naive (by any standards) you would not get anyone to tell you that your fly wasn’t ‘zipped up’ because the standard answer was

so better to be ‘cruel’ to your classmate rather than be ridiculed by him.

Loose lips sink ships. Complaint most likely filed by high school girl who didn't appreciate the new level of excitement set with shaved flapping naughty bits. What's a high school girl gonna have to do to get attention after that? Pretty much sets the bar to an experience level they are not equipped to compete with.
Where did you go to high school, anyway: Las Vegas!? And were you in charge of the high school gossip column?
Where I went to school, the Mother Superior looked like Ernest Borgnine, and the rest were either scary, mean, or a combination of the two.

I don’t know what’s more depressing, the teacher’s lousy judgment or that she’s sitting in jail over it.
These are high schoolers we’re talking about.
You think this is OK no big deal?? Implying that because they are high schoolers, they have all seen naked women...and it is just poor judgement.
For years, when stuff like this happens and teachers cross the line. The perps are then quietly let go and hired by another district to repeat the cycle. I for one am glad this was caught on social media and she is stopped from exercising “lousy judgement.”

I had a government teacher back in the 70s (when they actually taught civics, etc.) who dressed in short skirts and sat on the top of her desk with her legs open.
Suburban Philadelphia. High school kids are mostly adults for crying out loud. A hundred years ago they were working and raising families by that age.
Five years and many wrinkles ago.

From Smoking Gun website: 'According to court records, Sponsler pleaded guilty in 2008 to marijuana possession, public intoxication, and possession of drug paraphernalia (for which she received a two-year deferred sentence, was fined $1100, and was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service). In December 2009, a judge ruled that Sponsler violated her probation, in part because she had not disclosed being questioned by police investigating an accused meth cook. Sponsler told cops that she had been present in the suspect’s home when he was manufacturing the drug, adding that the man was “careless when he cooks.” In September 2011, Sponsler pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and marijuana in the presence of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to a three-year deferred sentence. As part of that plea deal, prosecutors dropped a burglary charge against Sponsler, who is pictured below in a mug shot snapped yesterday.
