Anheuser-Busch just won the Super Bowl of advertising with this timely cinematic ad spot celebrating its immigrant founder, Adolphus Busch.
The 60-second TV ad is set to make a star of handsome Sam Schweikert, who plays the young German entrepreneur from Hamburg.
The beautifully shot commercial, titled “Born the Hard Way,” was released Tuesday, and hits in the midst of a raging immigration debate.
It celebrates the struggle of the company’s founder to make it to St. Louis — still the company’s headquarters — and realize his vision of creating a new kind of beer.

There IS NO IMMIGRATION DEBATE.
NO ONE is arguing that immigrants have not made important contributions to this country.
This is about the Rule of Law and National Security.
Do they really think this is a good idea, given the probably political inclinations of who drinks their beer?
I am so skipping the Super Bowl. Between ads like this, and Lady Gaga and Goodell letting BLM take over the league, I just have better things to do.

The only reason big immigration wave to the States worked was because the immigrants were of the same European stock and in addition, were carefully screened for contagious disease.

Immigrants did not build the United States, its a flat out false fact that never gets refuted. The fact is there have been more US citizens who were born in the country total compared to all immigrants who came here born elsewhere.... Therefore hard working natural born citizens were the major group who built the U.S.
This is going to be the lowest-rated Super Bowl in years.
Just started going back to Wal Mart because they said they would hire more people...now I just have to see about all these companies coming back to America to bring their jobs with them, after President Trump gets rid of the H1B visa and lets see how many of the companies and corporations ‘hire Americans’...

Bud is foreign owned and no doubt some homo at an ad agency put the ad together. They don’t not give a you know what.
They are responding - as they always do - to whoever squeaks the loudest. They might pay a big price for that short-sighted position.
