On the latest episode of his “Prophetic Perspectives on Current Events” program, televangelist Rick Joyner declared that it was “really a God thing” that Donald Trump was elected president and proclaimed that Trump will soon “have an encounter with God” that will result in him using the power and prestige of the White House to help rebuild the church in America.

Likening Trump to King Cyrus from the Bible, Joyner said that Trump “is going to help provide much of the resources required to finish the house of God or to build it” in this nation. Just as Cyrus commanded the people to provide the Jews with the resources they needed to rebuild the temple, Joyner said “I think you’re going to probably see that happen from the Trump administration” once the church puts in place “mature leadership” who can handle all the wealth that is about to comes its way.

Trump will be just the first in a long line of “righteous” leaders who will arise all around the world, Joyner predicted, saying that “Donald Trump is a whole lot more righteous than most would ever suspect.”

“When I first met him, I said, ‘This guy has a fear of the Lord like very few in the church have,'” Joyner said, adding that while Trump has no respect for his fellow man, whom he has learned to manipulate and use, he does have tremendous respect for people of God.

“When he gets around clergy, he becomes the most humble, teachable person you could imagine and it’s real,” Joyner said. “It’s sincere.”

Joyner said that, in short, Trump could not have gotten elected “without a miracle; he got the miracle and it is a purpose of God.”

While I appreciate that patriots are encouraged with the idea that President Trump will use the "power and prestige" of the White House to help rebuild the Christian church in America, patriots are reminded of the following.

Simply put, regardless what FDR's state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices wanted everybody to think about Thomas Jefferson's "wall of separation," the real Thomas Jefferson had noted the following.

The Founding States had made the 10th Amendment to help clarify that the states had reserved uniquely to themselves the power to cultivate religious expression and free speech, regardless that the states had made the 1st Amendment to prohibit such powers entirely to the feds.

“3. Resolved that it is true as a general principle and is also expressly declared by one of the amendments to the constitution that ‘the powers not delegated to the US. by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively or to the people’: and that no power over the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, or freedom of the press being delegated to the US. by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, all lawful powers respecting the same did of right remain, & were reserved, to the states or the people: that thus was manifested their determination to retain to themselves the right of judging how far the licentiousness of speech and of the press may be abridged without lessening their useful freedom, and how far those abuses which cannot be separated from their use should be tolerated rather than the use be destroyed; [emphasis added] …” —Thomas Jefferson, Kentucky Resolutions, 1798.

So what President Trump actually needs to with respect to protecting 1st Amendement rights is this imo. He needs to use Oval Office powers to stop corrupt Congress from allowing the corrupt federal courts, including state sovereignty-ignoring Supreme Court activist justices, from getting away with legislating anti-religious expression "laws" from the bench.
