This woman is wicked smart, fast, and supremely armed with facts. She is like watching a champion prizefighter and I really have the utmost respect for her.
The best line of all was left off at the end. Chris says,feeding off a phrase she used,”And you didn’t rip me a new one.”
But of course she did, and was so gracious and professional in doing so, he didn’t even realize it, or he DID know and, like all the media shills, had to speak a lie so the uninformed would “know” she hadn’t.
While that is what the word means in a literal sense, it has come to mean something more in modern usage.
