How are the two things even remotely connected?

Gotta be some sort of mass mental illness. I guess they're mad at Trump, she's Trump's daughter, so she's reviled anyway, she ain't protesting her Dad's policies, which makes her even more reviled - and, they have had no luck attacking Trump so they will resort to attacking the children - even the 10-year old.

They haven't found anything that will not serve as a reason/excuse for being offended.

It's not "mass mental illness"; much of it is demon possession. Satan is overtly controlling a lot of these people and what we see taking place.

Satan, and those who follow him, and are his absolutely HATE the one true and living God; they VEHEMENTLY HATE the Lord Jesus Christ and all that He is, everything He represents and all that He has accomplished; they HATE Christians; they HATE righteousness; they HATE godliness; they HATE America, they HATE Israel and all that these nations represent and stand for; they are utterly ruthless, lawless and promote unbridled lawlessness and anarchy.
