I think they had an entire attack plan package all worked up. Trump probably got wind of it or just has good instincts and is hitting them on issues they didn’t expect and can’t deal with.
It used to be that Bush would do something they’d object to for a few months, but look at the past two days:
1. Keystone/SD pipeline approved.
2. EPA shut up and lawsuits against leadership that destroyed mine incoming
3. Abortion funding in foreign countries stopped, federal abortion funding incoming.
4. Possible cooperation with Russia in Syria
5. TPP dead. NAFTA to be renegotiated.
6. Pipelines in #1 must use US steel
7. Hiring freeze done
The media can’t generate news fast enough to foment anger about one central issue. Thursday Muslim immigration gets limited and Trump possibly issues a statement from Sisi saying Islam needs reform and Wahabbi Islam needs to be rejected.
