Interesting lineup with a little time wasted for Superman and an ICONIC ending...looking forward to the Bob Hope show...Coke Time with Eddie Fisher is appealing...haven't heard of Stars over Hollywood...and then We Hold These Truths- everyone, if you are not stirred up and emotional after Jimmy Stewart tells history there's something wrong with you. This is as great as it gets.
How's it going? It's a deary weather weekend here but inside happy times are here again...
Hi, Vision! Did you take this photograph?! If so, you had the best seat in the house! Great picture, regardless!
Happy New Day!
Hey Gina. Nope, I watched from the office.
How you doing?
Oh, well, it was a great event!
We’re fine. There were some bad storms that moved through the area yesterday. A tornado killed four people in a city about an hour north of here. Terrible. We’ve had some thunderstorms, but nothing like that.
From the picture...I'm surprised how big Lincoln’s Bible is.
Did you hear that? Hope talking about backing the new government?
Classy choice by Murray and Jill.
Unintentional double entendre there! Eddie had a fair amount of Coke Time.
The Lincoln Bible isn’t much bigger than his hand. I don’t know what that red box thing is. Probably a box. :-)
We didn’t hear what Murray said about the new government (thank goodness). We were mercifully spared, by being tuned in to the radio with the AFC Champ game. We still haven’t switched over...
The red box is Lincoln’s Bible. The smaller Bible on top is one his mother signed and gave him as a boy.
See how little I know? :-) You’re right—it’s a big Bible! And red!
:-D What a really, really fine picture!
PS: I didn’t realize they might choose to swear on a stack of Bibles, literally, so I missed that. :-D
He became addicted. The MD lost his license for over prescribing. Fisher just being one of many, willing or unwitting, patients.
Maybe he was overcome by dealing with Debbie and Liz. Who knows?
Good night, Vision! Happy “zero week”! :-D
"Custody issues", he claimed.
