Happy Inauguration weekend! Donald J. Trump is at the helm...

Interesting lineup with a little time wasted for Superman and an ICONIC ending...looking forward to the Bob Hope show...Coke Time with Eddie Fisher is appealing...haven't heard of Stars over Hollywood...and then We Hold These Truths- everyone, if you are not stirred up and emotional after Jimmy Stewart tells history there's something wrong with you. This is as great as it gets.

How's it going? It's a deary weather weekend here but inside happy times are here again...

Hi, Vision! Did you take this photograph?! If so, you had the best seat in the house! Great picture, regardless!

Happy New Day!

Oh, well, it was a great event!

We’re fine. There were some bad storms that moved through the area yesterday. A tornado killed four people in a city about an hour north of here. Terrible. We’ve had some thunderstorms, but nothing like that.

Crazy.

From the picture...I'm surprised how big Lincoln’s Bible is.

Did you hear that? Hope talking about backing the new government?

Classy choice by Murray and Jill.

Coke Time with Eddie Fisher

Unintentional double entendre there! Eddie had a fair amount of Coke Time.

Murray Horwitz, world's most repulsive personalty.

"So next up is Gunsmoke. This is about sexual assault and I apologize for the racially insulting mexican ascents. Don't you just love my social analysis?! I'm such a smart guy. I tell you all about this stuff! Here's Gunsmoke!"

The Lincoln Bible isn’t much bigger than his hand. I don’t know what that red box thing is. Probably a box. :-)

We didn’t hear what Murray said about the new government (thank goodness). We were mercifully spared, by being tuned in to the radio with the AFC Champ game. We still haven’t switched over...

The red box is Lincoln’s Bible. The smaller Bible on top is one his mother signed and gave him as a boy.

See how little I know? :-) You’re right—it’s a big Bible! And red!

:-D What a really, really fine picture!

PS: I didn’t realize they might choose to swear on a stack of Bibles, literally, so I missed that. :-D

I thought that same thing, but I looked it up. He was, ahem, given "vitamin" shots by the original, or an early "Dr. Feelgood", which contained amphetamines, aka "speed".

He became addicted. The MD lost his license for over prescribing. Fisher just being one of many, willing or unwitting, patients.

Maybe he was overcome by dealing with Debbie and Liz. Who knows?

I just glanced at some of the article headings, and one pointed out that "DR was the only one of his wives that he spoke ill of".

"Custody issues", he claimed.
