This is probably an attempt to bait Trump into attacking trans people instead of looking at the disruption to established diplomatic staffing Manning brought about which necessitated a huge reshuffling. Trump seems fairly attuned to “burrowing in” and probably other ways in which the outgoing administration can maintain influence.

I said he was NOT PARDONED and his sentence was commuted...
and I asked Mod to change the title which said he PARDONED Manning...
