The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary. - James Nicoll

Loadwords for include from the British, who took it from their stay in India: bungalow, pajama, guru, dungaree, cot, typhoon, etc., because what is what they had or developed apart from us

I watch Korean dramas and they use words from us like : kiss, okay, coffee, (pronounced kopee), date ( like the courting gesture, etc., because they that is what they like about us.

I am an American of Filipino descent and I see the word “boondock” used here in the US for a place in the middle of nowhere.

Left-Think:

If you emulate, it is cultural appropriation.

If you do not emulate, it is ethnic discrimination.

One thing you can say for leftists: The fix is always in with them.
