The Chargers made their relocation to Los Angeles official on Thursday morning
This is just sad. I went to college down in San Diego when the Chargers used to hold training camp at UCSD. A real shame nothing could be done to build a new stadium in San Diego - but they'll leave behind some great memories of Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow, John Jefferson, Charlie Joiner, Leslie O'Neal, Junior Seau, LaDanian Tomlinson. And of course, Philip Rivers - a great QB who (like Fouts) will likely never see a Super Bowl.

I remember going to the games in the 80’s. Fun times.
Hated the Raiders. So, yeah, not really impressed.

A HUGE problem with coastal Southern California is that the weather year-round is so good that there are a LOT of recreation options besides going to a professional sporting event. That's why the NFL has not done well in the fall in southern California.
