If you are a Qualified Institutional Buyer (>$5mm in account), or an Accredited investor (AI) (>$1mm in account), you may want to consider high yield defense bonds from Huntington-Ingles. They are all 144a bonds and some private placement on the secondary.
Do you really think some one asking that question here has that type of access or even know what yer talking about?

Sure. People come into money and start their investment investigations in interesting ways: Lawsuits, inheritance, lottery, or the most common: “holy crap, I need to get my money working for me so I can retire”. Happens everyday.
