I’m kind of tired especially of the police complaining that people are “filming” instead of “intervening”.
Maybe if we were allowed to carry guns in malls, we could “intervene”. Maybe the police could do a better job of intervening. Maybe mall security should like call the cops when there is a fight in the mall, and then try to stop it.
I’d probably try to step in if there were two people fighting (well not probably, I know I would because my daughter and I broke up a fight at a theme park 3 months ago).
If I saw a mob fight, I’m not sure I want to get myself beat up knowing that the mob is going to get away with it. I’d rather film it so there would be proof of who did what, not that they’ll use it to arrest the people or anything.
They are not asking you to break up the fight just call the police if you see it happening. No one even called.
