Lol
If you have never heard a Spanish speaker say Burger King
it really does sound like they are saying Booger King
I about died laughing the first time I heard it .
There is a better one though ...
ask a Spanish speaking person to say yellow sheets
(it sounds like they are saying jello sh*ts *=i )

Funny.
My daughter and I were in Punta Cana a while back looking for adventure and an attendant recommended going on “boogie” rides. It took us a while to figure out he was talking about dune buggies.
I’m fluent in Spanish and still had a language barrier.

In Spanish all over the world “g” followed by “e” or “i” is a soft g sound (similiar to “h” in English. The same rule for “c”.
In Spanish the rules are the rules, not like the chaotic English language.

There’s a place around here called El Rey del Taco. Why not El Rey de la Hamburguesa?

I do quality control in a factory. Most of the production crew is Hispanic. Occasionally they will page the maintenance guys to fix their machines. It's funny to hear:

When Chevy first introduced its NOVA to Venezuela and the rest of South America they made a major marketing error and then changed the name. NOVA translates into Spanish as “ No GO”
