What is causing FR to render slowly? JR's coding is simple enuff to render quick but my refresh takes over 120 seconds.

Tell me it is my lap-box or ATT connection. That would make it less frustrating on my end.

Also, try closing your current connection, and re-connect w/ another.

The problem isn’t that it is down. Rather, it is that someone pulled the engine and replaced it with pedals.

FR renders half the page and then pauses for 30 seconds.

It looks like a bandwidth problem, not a backend server problem.

That is not it.

I access from a corporate account at work, and my ATT myfi at home. Same problem in both places. Exactly the same, actually. All my other sites work great. That’s how I know it is freerepublic that is the problem.

My message to those that are having problems: It isn’t you. Don’t mess up your settings and delete cookies that you may need, etc. Just put up with it until they clean the pipes.

FR has been intermittently glitchy for me since the hardware failure a few weeks ago.
