We don’t have the power to give Obama an excuse to declare martial law mainly because Obama does have the power to declare martial law. If Obama had the power to declare martial law, i.e. set himself up as permanent dictator, he would already have done so.

I’d love to see him try. Like Caligula, he might discover that his generals and the Praetorian Guard are sick of his crap. It would be great to see him taken away to Bethesda in a straight jacket. The final repudiation of his attempts to fundamentally transform America should be Barry ranting in a rubber room about how he is the only legitimate president.
