Very instructive. Next time I know what to do when my wife insists I wear that horrendous ‘holiday sweater’.
Trying to live the thug life results in thuggish results.
Nice feel good story though on multiple levels.
Winter was brutal yesterday. Actually came close to wearing socks with my sandals.
When the wife tries to blanket Mickey and it’s not cold to him he just holds his nose up to about the 7 foot level while shaking his head “no”. If it’s windy and/or below freezing he sticks it right in and helps get it on :-). Weighing 1200 pounds makes its own heat...

Then she’d be looking at a face and hands transplant like that lady in the Northeast a few years ago.

Some people should not own dogs.
If an animal is outside long term, their coats grow to adapt.
“I had to shoot and kill a pitbull back in the day “ Long story short pitbull was raised to fight by its owner,Girl goes to pet “choche the pitbull”, pitbull says no way and grabs girls head. I knew where a gun was, choche would not listen to me to let go I start firing the gun at choche, lo and behold i shoot my pinky finger almost off in the panic. I drop the gun run outside screaming for help, as i walked back in choche the pitbull was walking out with blood coming from his temple laid on the porch and died. Girl who was attacked had 172 staples in her head because choche the fighting pitbull pulled back part of her scalp. I was the hero but choche was dead. But was it choches fault because he was abused and trained to fight ?. To this day i will not get near a pitbull even if they been raised in loving family.
Must have been a real ugly sweater.
Clearly a killer-bee costume would’ve been more appropriate.
I couldn’t find a pic of a pit bull in an ugly sweater so went with the closest resemblance.
With cats, it’s the multitude of long claws all moving in
different directions at once PLUS the sharp teeth for good
measure. :o(
FANG (husband) just brushes BOO-BOO. Mrs. Berry always said
never to bathe a cat. We’ve had a few strays SO dirty and
full of creepy crawlies that we had to bathe them. So, I
filled the upstairs bathtub with nice, warm water and
clunked the cats in and - somehow - soaped them up with
Dr. Bronner’s liquid castile and just let them swim in the
water until they were rinsed off. - Then I wrapped them up
real good in a big towel & dried them off.
Then I cleaned the tub real good. Sigh. :o)
Cats have sharp claws that go 90 mph slashing through skin.
