not really. plenty of W7 Pro X64 laptops and desktops available from Dell, Panasonic and others.
Wish it were true. The CAD CAM FEA software I use daily requires... well.... requires what MS says I require.
I have 6 machines that still use XP that are isolated from the net and they are stable as.....
The software however... There is a shiite relationship that requires both the latest OS and the latest software. M FEA package ended Windows 7 support while at the same time the hardware required ended the FEA software support. SO. I was forced to upgrade to Windows 10 which forced my CNC packages to upgrade to win 10. Anyway it was all a big fn. mess. I still have 2 CNC machines on isolated XP machines (which are rock solid stable) but my FEA CNC CAM CAD packages are all forced to adopt the BS win 10. AND so convenient, the updates killed support for win 7.
Yay....
Would prefer new or at least truly a refurb straight from the factory.
