I know, it might bring some healing, right? As things stand, it could be a really bumpy inaugural.
I don’t understand the country stars. Are they just slaves to their labels or what? Do any of them have gonads? They know most of their fans voted Trump. If one of them does perform they will sell millions in the next week. Dead silence from them all makes me a bit disgusted as if they are all just phonily singing about real American life but secretly they are just hypocrite libs in disguise.
Beyoncé doesn't come close....with one CD, and that nowhere near as high on the chart as Jackie first appears.
This is what artists who've sold out to the dark side understand. If they're not going to respect their target audience, we aren't going to enrich them. FWIW, it does seem that most "country" has been rather fraudulent and commercial for a few years now.
You are absolutely correct. Very few A-listers are willing to take the heat from the prog music press or the social media beatings they will receive from people on the left who don’t even listen to their music. On a personal note i’d love to see Bob Dylan get up and sing Neighborhood Bully from his album Infidels. It was written in the 80’s but even more relevant today. That song is put up then taken down and even re-written on youtube on a regular basis. I’ve got the vinyl, the CD and the mp3 ;o)
I plan on buying her album after Jan 1. And any other performer who performs.
Whoever raises the finger to the industry and quietly agrees and shows up for the inauguration will be richly rewarded.
I’m just disgusted by any country artist writing or singing songs to appeal to — basically — Trump voters, refusing to stand up for their own beliefs. Worse of course is if they only sing those songs for money but are low info libs in real life.
