Yup,, they KNEW where earth would be millions and millions of years ago and pointed their transmitters accordingly.

Or, they are using an omnidirectional transmission, requiring a couple of quasar power sources.

Good grief.

Signals are apparently coming from an area three billion light years away. That is going to require a very fast spacecraft.

Omni directional and quasi bi dimensional bifurcated signal invertors were used and guess what?

The signals have been decoded using our new phase splitting multi transmogrified systems.

The message was. “If A guy named Trump lives on your rock, tell him to contact us when he becomes your President. We wish to do business with him so he can make us great again.”

3 billion years, actually. Before earth had an oxygen atmosphere. Very forward looking, these aliens.

This is either a stupid mistake on the part of the researchers or they are implicitly confirming the “old earth” theory :)

Yup,, they KNEW where earth would be millions and millions of years ago and pointed their transmitters accordingly.

So the area of the cosmos the signal came from is 3 billion light years away. Now consider the expansion of the Universe from that part of it in three billion years. It would take light from Earth to travel X amount of time to where they were to sense the Earth so one would have to deduce the relative position of the Earth nearly 6 billion years in advance to send a signal, or you just blast out a signal in this general direction.

I'm thinking it is random, but they say life started on Earth around 3 billion years ago, so perhaps.........
