Seriously, was under attack by Possums very late at night on Christmas Eve.. lol.. they're nocturnal. They wanted to smash in thru insect-screen of one window, probably hungry..

When I lived in Auz, every bloody morning at 4am, a nest of kookaburras (in the gum tree very close to our house) would scream so loud as to wake the dead. Every bloody morning.

I know exactly what you mean. We got them too where I live and more birds. You don’t have to live in rural areas, some may think. Even in main suburbs of major cities, if in ‘leafy/bushy’ areas you get them too. I no longer set an alarm clock, not during summer months anyway, they wake me up.
