Could it have something to do with Christmas cards that don’t mention Christmas? Or the total omission of an Easter Proclamation? Or a Thanksgiving Proclamation that doesn’t mention God?

Well, was it displayed or not? Seems pretty central to the premise of the article but somehow Donohue never gets around to saying.
