So,.....He’s got that goin for him..
If it’s a golf themed bar with all aspects of golf being displayed, including Caddyshack, I can see it being a success.
But if it’s just a Caddyshack bar, not many people can relate to a movie that is almost 40 years old.
“Nice boy. Now I know why tigers eat their young,” Rodney Dangerfield’s character. :-)
Still waiting for the “Meatballs” themed restaurant.
Menu should include squirrel stew.
He could open a Caddyshack-themed excavation company — “The world needs ditch diggers, too.”
Pretty cool. Watched the movie just the other night - first time in years. Still holds up.
Not Bill’s first attempt. Some years back he and his brothers opened “Eat Drink and be Murry” in St Augustine, FL. A cold beer and burger stop, but I liked it.
I’m all right............with that..........
They had some in Florida 15-20 yearsbago.
You got a pool or a pond over there?
I grew up on and still live on that same street. Around the time of Bill’s youngest brothers, who were not the most productive teenagers. But the family was fun. There were lots of very large Irish and Italian families in Wilmette. We had 5 kids and there were 10 next door. East Wilmette was a great Catholic neighborhood that produced several celebrities. And even some great conservatives like Steve Moore who grew up a few blocks north. And some not so great Dems like Rahm Emanuel who grew up a few blocks west in the Jewish side of Wilmette.
If you buy a bowl of soup do you get a free hat?
He should open a ‘Ground Hog Day’ bed and breakfast next door.
When I go there, I think I’ll order a hamburger — no — a cheesburger. I’ll order a hot dog . . . a milkshake . . . . french-fries . . .
“so I got that going for me”
Baby Ruth Bar will be the signature dessert item.
It’s easy to grin when your ship comes in and you’ve got the restaurant business beat. But the man worthwhile, Is the man who can smile, when his shorts are too tight in the seat.
No offense, but how many people actually remember Caddy Shack?
And its it going to have an animatronic gopher as its host?
I just wish they’d stop shouting “ It’s in the hole! “ at the urinals.
