You gotta ask yourself if the big bucks for QB’s is smart economics, long-term. Russell Williams won it all on his rookie deal, so did Joe Flacco, and Ben Rothlisberger - so did (almost) Colin Kaepernick. Dak Prescott is a promising beast. There are a lot of sacrifices made by spending about 15% of payroll on 1.89% of the personnel.

There are a lot of sacrifices made by spending about 15% of payroll on 1.89% of the personnel.Add Romo to that list. He was a nobody in the draft and look what he's accomplished. No, he doesn't have a Super Bowl yet, but his numbers put him as one of the top performing QBs.
