Life support for five years? Who the hell would want to live like that?
I guess she wanted to live like that. I read an article a couple years ago that said she had written that she wanted to die when it was her time, not a moment sooner, and they should do everything to keep her alive. She had several medical issues that she recovered from so I guess she thought she would survive anything.
