A sit-down with President-elect Donald Trump scored 2.3M viewers for Fox News Sunday over the weekend, the second-most viewers in the program's 20-year history. The only episode to draw more eyeballs was coverage of Saddam Hussein's capture in December 2003, according to Nielsen Media Research.
The December 11 broadcast hosted by Chris Wallace on Fox also boasted 728,000 viewers in the adults 25-54 news demo, the most since June 2008. Nationally, Fox News Sunday is up 33% in total viewers over last year and up 53% in the demo.

Aside from Cabinet secretaries and Supreme Court justices, whose nominations require the approval of the Senate, the President of the United States currently has the authority to unilaterally appoint over 300 people to high-level positions within the federal government.
According to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), most of these positions, known as "Presidential Appointments," pay from $99,628 to about $180,000 per year and include federal employee benefits.
