Ever since the NFL gave a more scientifically accurate explanation of the Ideal Gas Law that MIT scientists did, I have believed that Patriots fans are the most scientically illiterate fans in the country. This thread does nothing to change that belief.
Please educate us on why you feel qualified to comment on this subject, and that you can judge others as “scientifically illiterate” when you yourself fail to factor in the effect that moisture content in leather can have on both the porosity and expandability of a leather football?
When did they do that? From everything I've read from them, they're the ones that come across like yokels.
I mean, let's face it - Rog ain't the sharpest tool in the shed. Before this "Deflate-gate" thing, if you had pressed Goodell on the Ideal Gas Law, you would have elicited the longest blank stare imaginable.
Now, if that had been the New York Jets that complained about this, a new study would have been commissioned, at a cost of at least $10 million, recommending Roethlisberger be publicly hung by the balls, but only after lots of innuendo had been applied to suitably smear the guy.
While being vilified, he would not be damaged to the degree Brady was, because (1) he does not play for the Patriots; and (2) he is NOT Tom Brady.
Any questions?

Go ahead and watch it, it is both informative and entertaining. (Entertaining if you understand science)
