The “test” among hard drinkers when I was one myself was this: have you ever gotten up and started drinking again to get rid of the nasty hangover?
That’s the beginning of true alcoholism, among functional alcoholics. That’s the route to dysfunction and the gutter.
Feh I never really did that but it certainly managed to mess my life up plenty. I only drank in the morning because i wanted to drink in the morning.
