They do not Trust their sailors, we had their Brass aboard (don’t remember if it was Kitty Hawk or Ranger) and they were in total disbelief that Enlisted were even allowed near the aircraft let alone involved in any of the Flight evolution’s.
They thought we were scamming them

If you weren’t operating carriers in the days of props, you are in for a LONNNGG learning curve when it comes to modern jets. It’s very evolutionary.

Soviets didn't trust their pilots either, their missions were managed, unlike the independence that our pilots have.

My soldiers were trained to do the job of their squad leader, platoon sergeant, and my job as the Platoon Leader.

That's what makes our armed forces so effective.
