To Kill A Mockingbird is literary trash. It has always been the holy grail to the left so that should tell you something.

I loved that book. The character of Atticus Finch is one of the most profound in literature.

Your teacher mustn't have taken the time to explain the time, societal conditions and human tendencies.

It's my belief that many of the classics are presented too soon because it takes a bit more experience to be able to appreciate them.
