I wish someone would out Levin as an agent of foreign powers already.

It couldn’t be more obvious to me that he’s a reboot of Hal Turner. His EXTREMELY MYSTERIOUS rise to prominence is something that should be fully investigated.

Mark has become a very bitter man.

We have tried it Marks way for decades and what do we have to show
for it?

The American middle class wiped out.

Time for something different

"The problem isn’t that ‘tax incentives’ were given. The problem is they had to be given in the first place! Ax the taxes. Cut all the regulations. Cut ObamaCare. Unleash the power of the free market."

Agreed, but note that is ultimately the same point that Levin gets to in general.

Exactly. He may be identifying it correctly but please don’t act like it has just now shown up.

Oh Mark, I love you, but let it go. The Left is shrieking and stomping its feet, trying to pick the deal apart (falsely) on the numbers -- numbers of jobs saved, what it will allegedly "cost the taxpayer," etc. (I saw one Lefty claim this is costing taxpayers "seven million dollars per worker"! The guy obviously got his decimal point wrong.)

And some of us on the Right are acting like lecturing curmudgeons. Being a curmudgeon can be fine, and lecturing might have its place too. But we should carefully pick our fights ... this one isn't it.

Both Left and Right should sound a grace note here. Unfortunately the Left is no longer capable of a grace note of any kind.

Mark has turned into one of those yappy little lap dogs. Won’t hunt or herd cattle, can’t provide protection, all they do is yap and irritate all day and soil the carpet. Time to send him to the farm. LOL

Mark, lets look at everything. Companies are leaving because of MONEY.

Let’s dig a bit deeper and see what the expenditures are.

Let’s dig a bit deeper and see where they come from.

Let’s dig a bit deeper and see who they benefit.

Let’s dig a bit deeper and see who supports them.

Mark Levin, you know everything. I am surprised that your lack of intelligence cannot comprehend that we are at a point where government must know cede power back to the states.

I have been here for 52 years. Where have you been?

Yes, we need a special “abuse” button for the so-called “great one”

I’ve tried to listen to Levin since the election. I can’t do it for long. He refuses to understand what globalization has wrought upon manufacturing and as a consequence the middle class.

If regulations on manufacturing are required in this country, then imported manufactured goods should have the same burden levied upon them. To not do so is to encourage every factory to move to mexico that can possibly relocate.

I don’t like that Carrier needed cajoling and tax incentives. give the same treatment to every manufacturer. rationalize regulations. Let them grow here, not encourage them to grow somewhere else.

Levin has a track record now of ignoring the obvious.

I suggest that Levin will experience his own consequences of economic authoritarianism from his advertisers as he chases his audience away and is left with fanboys and bitter supporters of those defeated in the primaries.

I can’t listen to you, my man. You keep telling me how stupid I must be for realizing how stupid you are on economic issues.

He is the Denali of disappointments.

So the rigged system called “free trade” was fair to us? Have corporations reacted fairly to conservatives?

They’ve wasted trillions of dollars on faddish things like global warming and actively promote cultural rot including democrats.

When did conservative pundits show concern for the loss of the manufacturing base in this country?

Can you define a bit what you mean by, “.. Tried it Mark’s way? “

With a certain administration or Congress?

Mark’s position comes from absolute purity.

I appreciate his concerns.

But I don’t think it is possible nor practical nor practicable to move from whatever it is we have now to an ideologically pure position in one shot.

He is not incorrect with his concerns, but in an era where the government, both parties, has funded billions of dollars worth of cronyism, this Carrier deal is very small potatoes.

Suddenly we have a new worry-wart thing we can get all exercised about.

It’s time the American people stop getting so freaking exercised over every subtle gesture, the interpretation, the predictions of the outcomes, and the projections of “what happens if this happens in every case from now until eternity”.

The people commenting on this have proven absolutely ineffective at predicting outcomes.

How about we go back to living our lives?

It’s not that he is crazy. He is speaking for the Republicans who were always in favor of
1) unlimited h1b’s. Illegal immigration is bad but unlimited legal is always good
2) giving China a pass on currency manipulation and rights abuses because we want cheap stuff
3) not touching NATO even though most members aren’t paying up
4) ‘at least Bush kept us safe’

Trump threw out the old Bush talking points and Levin can’t adapt

Mark Levin, as partly evidenced by his marital situation, “has issues.”

I’m talking about this globalist free trade mentality that has wiped
out our middle class. Decades of this mentality.
