HGTV is standing by the hosts of its popular home renovation series “Fixer Upper.”
The channel issued a response after BuzzFeed reported earlier this week that Chip and Joanna Gaines attend a church whose pastor has spoken out against same-sex marriage, and raised the question of whether gay couples would be welcome on the show.
“We don’t discriminate against members of the LGBT community in any of our shows,” the network said in a statement to The Post.

A tiny minority (LGBT) is vocal and gets so much done for them by corporate America. A larger group of Christians gets insulted over here and over there by corporate America. Uh why don’t Christians just turn off HGTV and stop patronizing companies that are at war with Christian values?
Exactly. 2% of the population screaming because the rest of us don’t want to watch their crap on TV.
I looked up the demographics.
In San Francisco this is it:
“10,384 (3%) were same-sex married couples or partnerships”
3%
In San Francisco. And this includes “partnerships”.
I’ve never watched this show... but I’m looking for it now that I know the left is trying to railroad them for being decent people.

Simply because they’re not motivated.
The parent companies of the MSM include Disney, Comcast, and Time Warner.
We no longer visit Disney, nor patronize its production and broadcast properties, namely ABC and ESPN.

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.
At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

Whatever WILL the pastor say next? “Thou shall not steal ?” Obama solution : tear the infidel church down and replace it with a homosexual bathhouse. Yep, look for it. But I’m not so sure they will. The Gaines seem to have lots of resources and are wildly popular, not just on HGTV. They have Magnolia Market, their decor and furniture is being sourced to furniture stores, they are even launching a magazine. So they hold a lot of cards.

They are two genuine people that happen to have a hit show. Back when we had cable, I used to watch it.
It is an abomination that people are going after them like this!
There is no controversy, just a few whining queers attention whoring.
Christmastime. I think Duck Dynasty was attacked just before Christmas too.
Myself and the wife have watched the show for a number of years. The Gaines are huge Baylor fans as I believe they meet while attending school. Chip does go a bit over the top at times clowning around, but overall it's an OK show.
IIRC there have been a couple of episodes where gays were indeed to subjects of the show.
I left one TV on Fixer Upper yesterday to give them ratings
