We had a recent tragedy in NE Florida. Nassau County Detective Oliver was present as the immigration authorities were checking on the immigration status of a pick up load of “roofers”. During the encounter, one of the detainees sprinted away and the deputy was in foot pursuit when he was hit by a vehicle. He was DOA. The illegal was apprehended 45 miles away in Jacksonville. He had been deported TWICE already to San Salvadore. Under questioning he said he had reentered the US five days ago by wading the Rio Grande.
BUILD THE DAMN WALL. Electrify it. Back it up with land mines and M-60s. We did not deserve to lose this wonderful deputy. Lastly, two of the other six were also illegal status “visitors”. Seems to me whomever was employing these guys without having checked on their lawful status should be shot too.

45% of illegals come in the front door and stay. The key to stopping it isn’t a wall. We need to stop illegal labor. I can’t believe under this administration that DHS (whatever variety) was allowed to go after a group of day laborers. That has been prohibited by the Administration since day one of the Obama Administration.
