I own a 68 mustang coup, it has been under a tarp for a decade. It may one day get the 351 Windsor (bored/stroked to 427) that is sitting in my shed.

Speed of electric cars can be extremely fast. Until I can take a road trip and fill up anywhere in 10 minutes it is just isn’t practical for anything but a morning commute.

If you set it up for range, you can get over 200 miles between charges. If you spend the money for rapid charge, you can get to 60% or so in five or ten minutes.

Is it as quick and convenient as gas? No, not yet. But, it’s not as if you have to wait hours for a charge anymore, given the right equipment and the right charger.

“I own a 68 mustang coup,”

67 Camaro here. We would be crazy to ever sell them. Easy to work on, plenty of parts. I’m just about done restoring.
