I’m betting it’s not a hoax. I own a stock 2015 GT. I’ve been driving 50 years, all kinds of vehicles, and this thing lays power to the wheels like there’s no tomorrow. Flip the switch to “Sport” or “Track”, and it can get scary real quick.

435 Hp with no tweaks, 165 is the “book” top speed. I know some guys who report over 185. There is a bolt-on supercharger that gets it over 700 Hp. I have no doubt that would get you over 200 mph.

Exactly so.

But I would not want to be on a TRACK doing that kind of speed, much less a public highway.

Had there been a pothole, it could have gotten real messy real quick.....................

I got my 2012 5.0 GT to 130+ and it wasn't straining AT ALL. Much more to go before top end.

I wimped out and slowed down, but the Mustang could have gone much faster.
