Chelsea Manning isn't going to wait and see whether WikiLeaks tries to call in a favor when Donald Trump becomes president.
She has asked President Obama to reduce her sentence for leaking classified files from 35 years to the more than six she has already spent behind bars, reports the New York Times, which notes that Manning has already spent more time in prison than any other convicted leaker in U.S. history.

If Odumbo pardons Clinton, and ALL her sycophants, I wonder if he will pardon all leakers of classified information, as well as Bowe Bergdahl?
However, he/she/it needs to realize that the appeal is based on a sense of fairness that simply doesn't exist in the obama banana republic. Sure, in a Nation of laws you might expect fair and equal treatment under the law. You might expect that since bammy's cohorts in crime have officially ignored, even sanctioned so many other similar crimes that you should be given some equal consideration. But in bammy's world, it is all about power and influence. If you don't have any, or anything to trade for it, you don't count. Maybe, just maybe if bammy thought there was some way he could use you to hurt America, he'd consider it. No-doubt right now he is angry and his narcissism and pettiness are looking for a way to strike back at an America that has resoundingly rejected him and his "legacy" - electing a guy that is going to dismantle everything he's done.
Equal protection under the law, he/she/it just might have a case.
Or we could just apply the same rules to Hillary!™...
